IssueRSA NetWitness Investigator license is invalid after upgrading to newer version.
License Manager shows a different Computer ID (CID) for the same workstation after upgrading to a newer version.
CauseThis discrepancy can be caused by having both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same application installed.  Requesting and applying a new license key will result in one key showing invalid, depending on which applicaiton (32-bit or 64-bit) initiates the License Manager.
ResolutionIn order to resolve the issue, confirm whether the workstation on which the software is installed is running a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and uninstall the inappropriate version of NetWitness Investigator.
