|Issue||Customer unable to login from Self Service Console or Security Console due to an Authentication Error|
Authentication Manager server logfiles contained within c:\program files\RSA Security\RSA Authentication Manager\Server\logs\ show the following text
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
When trying to login to Self Service Console the following error appears:
- Error: Sorry, your request cannot be processed at this time.
- Authentication Error: An error has occured during authentication. Please contact your Administrator
The above error is caused by the LDAP directory server user object's password being changed due to a Periodic Password Expiration policy.
|Resolution||To be able to login to Self Service Console, ensure your Active Directory LDAP has the 'Require Periodic Password Policy' set to NO/disabled.|
