Admin user with some admin role, when logged into security console, he cannot assign fixed passcode to users.

Resolution

Please download the most recent service pack for RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 from securcareonline.


1. Create a sub domain ( in some security domain)
2. Create a user: Report_user   ( give him a never expiring password )
3. Create administrative role ---> Report_role
4. RSA Security Console ---> Administration ---- > Administrative Roles ---- > Manage Existing --->
  Select the Administrative Role ---- >First Tab --- > Scope ----> Navigate to Administrative Scope 
  ---> Select the sub domain
5. Click on the second tab - General Permissions - Manage Delegated Administration section - for Security Domains - Check the box for View
6.
Click on the Authentication Manager Permissions tab
  Check the box edit and view under Authentication attributes for Fixed Passcode
7. Log off. Log in as admin user account with admin role. You will notice that you will be able to assign
   fixed passcode to users.
