IssueError message when importing sdtid file: "No token storage device was detected. Verify that the device is attached or contact your administrator"
CauseThe RSASecurIDStorage file had been restored from backup. The software token is unable to access the storage file.
ResolutionDelete or rename the RSASecurIDStorage file. For Token 4.1 on WinXP  one location can be:   
c:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\RSA\RSA Securid Software Token Library\RSASecurIDStorage
Notes

You can enable debugging of the application:


Change the LogLevel Key vaulue:


 


1.       Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RSA\SoftwareToken\Library\


2.       Change the value of LogLevel key value from INFO to DEBUG


3.       Reboot laptop


4.       Logon back to laptop


5.       Open ?RSA SecurID Token?  application and Close


6.       Verify ?RSA_Software_Token_Log.txt? file
