Attach Replica Dynamic Display
Replica install fails with the following errors in the Config_trace.log:

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error ORA-12541: TNS:no listener The database connection to remote site <primanry> is disconnected
Replica installation fails if there is a firewall blocking the ports in between the primary and replica servers. Make sure all the required ports, specifically the replication port 2334/TCP is open.
You can test by using either Telnet from a CMD prompt or http from a Browser to port 2334, e.g.
DOS CMD prompt> telnet <replica IP or Name> 2334
Browser on Primary: http://<replica>:2334
Browser of Replica: http://<Primary>:2334
Time out or restricted means port is blocked or not listening, blank screen means you received a TCP SYN ACK back from the port so it is not blocked

|Resolution||Open up all the required ports between the Replica and primary instance. Most importantly the replication Port 2334/TCP.|
