If the Self-Service Console page is not updating with the new logo or header/footer information, be sure to check your Virtual Host and Load Balancer configuration information in the Operations Console.

If the Self-Service Console page is not updating with the new logo or header/footer information, be sure to clear the browser cache and test again.

WorkaroundOn the RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 Administrator's Guide are steps to customize the logo displayed on the Self-Service Console web page as well as header and footer information.  Steps include:

1. In the Operations Console, go to Deployment Configuration > Web-Tier Deployments > Customization.

2. On the Web Tier Customization page, do the following.

  • (Self-Service Console and RBA logon pages) Select a new logo file for Self-Service Console and RBA logon pages. You can replace the RSA logo with your own. The logo file must be a .gif file that is less than 5 MB. The image must fit within 500 pixels wide by 50 pixels high.

  • (Self-Service Console) Enter text for the header for Self-Service Console only. You can add some user information, such as ?Welcome to the your company name Self-Service Console, where you can request an on-demand tokencode and update your user profile.?

  • (Self-Service Console) Enter text for footer 1 for Self-Service Console only.  You can add up to three lines of text.

  • (Self-Service Console) Enter text for footer 2.

  • (Self-Service Console) Enter text for footer 3.

3. Click Save.

After making changes you then need to update the web tier via the Operations Console (Deployment Configuration > Web-Tier Deployments > Manage Existing).

1.  On the Web Tiers page, in the Status column, click Update for the web tier that you want to update.  When the update is complete, which may take up to 20 minutes, the Status column for the updated web tier displays Online.
