IssueTroubleshooting Auto-Registration issues
Possible reasons for Auto-Registration failure

1.If IP address of Agent is a secondary node for another Agent, Auto-registration will fail

2.Please check if some other agent has taken over this IP address, if so the auto registration will fail

3.Check if the Agent host auto-registration utility is installed (usually installed with custom installation option)

4.Check if the auto registration service is running properly

a)Make sure the auto registration service (sdregsrv.exe) is running at system startup. If not, please reboot

5.Check in the activity log if the SSL handshake is failing during auto-registration. If so the possible cause is incorrect server.cer file. Please replace the file in this case.

6.No auto-registration request is sent.

-You can verify this by Running sdadmreg.exe utility from the command prompt with ?a option. If this works, the problem might be sdregsrv.exe service. Please reboot.

If the above steps do not work, please enable tracing on the Agent Host and open a ticket with RSA Customer Support for further analysis.
