Getting above error when importing the .sdtid file on a Windows desktop PC running software token 4.1.1/4.1.2 automation

CauseThis is caused by distributing software token with profile linked to Desktop PC 4.x device type.
Resolution

If the Administrator has doubt about which software token application (software token with automation or without) installed on the user's PC, he should create a new software token profile against device type: Desktop PC AES 128-bit 3.0.x


And then use the software token profile to generate the .sdtid file
