IssueWhen creating a data feed that includes a sub-form with an attachment field, some source sub-form records have multiple files linked to the attachment field.

Instead of creating a sub-form record with multiple attachments in the target instance, the data feed creates a separate sub-form record for each attachment.
CauseA source field has not been selected as a unique identifier for sub-form records.
ResolutionTo resolve this issue, please modify the data feed configuration:
  1. Go to the Field Map tab.
  2. For the Sub-Form field, click the Source Field drop-down.
  3. Select a field to use as a unique identifier for the sub-form.
  4. Go to the Key Field Definitions tab. 
  5. Select the same field as the key field for sub-form records.
  6. The data feed will now link multiple attachments to one sub-form record as intended.
