IssueWhen trying create or edit workflows with Internet Explorer 11 or Firefox, the following error appears:
ClassNotFoundException
com.workpoint.applet.ModelApplet
Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
1. Enable third-party cookies


a. In the browser, click the Tools menu.
b. Click Internet Options.
c. Select the Privacy tab.
d. Click Advanced.
e. Select Override automatic cookie handling.
f.  Select the Accept button under Third-party Cookies and click OK.


2. Remove certificates


a  Select Start > Configure Java.
b.  Click Security.
c.  Click Manage Certificates.
d.  In Certificate Type, from drop down choose Trusted Certificates.
e.  Select all which have Workpoint LLC.
f.  Click Remove.


3. Disable Verification


a  Select Start > Configure Java.
b.  Click Advanced.
c.  Under Mixed code (sandboxed vs. trusted) security verification, select Disable verification.


4.  Add the server URL  (https://IP_address_of_server:port)


a.  Go to Start > Configure Java
b.  Click Security.
c.  Click Edit Site List.
d.  Click Add.
e.  Enter the URL. Do NOT add /aveksa/main in the URL, only the IP address and port, but the port is optional.


5. If all the above fail, try the following:


a  Install new or different version of Java. Even going from a 64-bit version to 32 -bit can sometimes resolve the issue. Be sure to point the browser to the new version from the Start > Configure Java. Restart the browser to pick up the new Java version.
b.  Try reinstalling the browser and check settings as outlined in steps 1 - 4.
c.  Try using Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer. Sometimes one will work with a particular configuration where another browser will not.
