RSA Version/Condition: 5.x,6.x
IssueWhen attempting to set the RAM and/or CPU Throttle parameter in the Archer Control Panel, it will not take the setting.
You can save the change, but when you re-open the ACP the setting is back to 100%.
ResolutionLook for the following error message in the job framework logs:

Error checking performance metrics. Resetting performance thresholds to defaults.

Please check or ensure that:
  • If using a Service account, this account needs to be a local administrator AND be a member of the Performance Monitor Users group to run the jobs and the app pool.
  • If using Local System (NT Authority) account, this account (which is already a local admin by default) needs to be a member of the Performance Monitor Users group (in version 5.4 and below) to run the jobs and the app pool.

Note:  This is needed ONLY for version 5.4 and below, as version 5.5 and above may not require these users in this Local Group.

Add the Windows Service account running the RSA Archer services to the Performance Monitor group and then restart servers.
