|Issue||Changing an Android device's unlock screen method will require the user to to complete device registration again.|
Note that changing either the unlock method or, for example, changing the password value will cause this problem.
|Cause||This is due to an Android OS system issue.|
|Resolution||Prior to re-registering the device it must be deleted from the user's registered devices in the Administration Console.|
