IssueAfter a values list has been expanded, if a user clicks on the white space in the field, the values list selection is replaced with random, recently-used values list entries from other values lists and even other applications. The values are coming from the IE browser cache.
When the browser cache is cleared, all entries except the first one, “{2}”, will be removed. See the example screenshots below.

ResolutionTo fix this issue you need to turn off the IE forms Auto Populate option.
Go to Tools > Internet Options > click on the Content tab > go to Settings for Auto Complete > disable the Forms option > click OK. Then close and re-open the browser.
