IssueWhen either a non-sysadmin user OR sysadmin user is entering a new record or saving an existing record, they are taken from the current workspace to the default (furthest to the left) workspace.
CauseThis issue occurs because in IIS the API application is in a different app pool as the main Archer application.
ResolutionTo resolve, ensure that the API application is in the same app pool as the Archer Application.
First Example:
IF Archer is installed as a separate application in IIS underneath default website,
THEN you need to have the "Archer" application and the "Api" application assigned to the same app pool.
This app pool needs to be running asp.net 4.0
This can be the default app pool, or a named, for example "Archer" app pool
Second Example:
IF Archer is installed as default website,
THEN the "Root Application" and the "Api" application need to be assigned to the same app pool.
This app pool needs to be running asp.net 4.0
This can be the default app pool, or a named, for example "Archer" app pool.
