IssueUnable to start IBM WebSphere Admin Server as a Windows service after installing RSA ClearTrust Agent. The Admin Server runs as an application (adminservice.bat) without error.
Error: "NT Services Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start control request in a timely fashion"
Error: "Unable to load security provider: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.crypto.provider.SunJCE. Class cannot be found." in IBM WebSphere's adminserver_stderr.log
CauseUpdates to the admin.config file failed while installing RSA ClearTrust Agent
ResolutionThe RSA ClearTrust Agent lib directory must be added to the Java startup options in the admin.config file. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Open the file C:\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\admin.config

2. Look for the parameter "com.ibm.ejs.sm.util.process.Nanny.adminServerJvmArgs"

3. This parameter has a number of options, one of which is -Dws.ext.dirs

4. Verify that the full path to the ClearTrust Agent lib directory is one of the arguments to the -Dws.ext.dirs option

NOTE: When editing the com.ibm.ejs.sm.util.process.Nanny.adminServerJvmArgs parameter, keep in mind that all options and arguments that make up the value of this parameter are added in the same page line. If your editor has word wrap enabled, it will appear as several line. When adding the ClearTrust Agent lib directory, ensure not to <enter> a line break. Also, as you will see from the other arguments, a single back-slash (\) or a space in a directory path (Program Files) is not valid. You will need to escape the back-slashes in your directory path and convert two-word directory names to DOS 8.1 format. For example, the path to the ClearTrust Agent lib directory should be added in the following format:

    C:\\PROGRA~1\\RSA\\ClearTrust\\wa4agent\\lib;
