IssueCan the frequency of RSA SecurID Appliance automatic backup job be increased?

Once a week, RSA SecurID Appliance runs an automatic backup of critical database and license files in case of a system failure. The backup is stored on the Appliance, and should be downloaded to another location for safekeeping. Click Maintenance > Download Backup File. If you need Help, click the ? icon on the Download Backup File page.

Note: The backup file (backupCab1.cab) contains copies of your user and log databases, license files, and configuration file.  RSA Security recommends that you regularly download the backup file and store it in a protected location available only to trusted administrative personnel. For information about restoring a backup to your Appliance, see the RSA SecurID Appliance 1.0 Owner's Guide, page 59 under the section "Restoring Backed Up System Files to the Appliance".

This backup is called by an 'at' command:

Status ID   Day                     Time          Command Line

        1   Each Su                  12:00 AM      c:\ace\scripts\rotatebackup.bat
ResolutionFrom within the Advanced > Remote Desktop, create a new "at" job running the same script {c:\ace\scripts\rotatebackup.bat} with the frequency you desire.
