IssueUsing IBM security chip with RSA SecurID Software Token
The PKCS#11 device (ibmpkcst.dll) cannot be selected as the PKCS#11 device for the Software Token
CauseProblem exists that prevents interface from querying and using a number of different PKCS#11 devices
ResolutionKnown problems in this area have been resolved with a patched version of the file STAUTO32.DLL. This replacement file can be obtained from RSA Security Customer Support by quoting reference number tst00037010. The replacement file will enable interworking between RSA SecurID Software Token 3.0.2 and IBM embedded Security Chip 2.

NOTE: There is a restriction that applies in this area: with the two devices, it is only possible to store 5 different software tokens on the device. If a working system on RSA SecurID Software Token 3.0.1 is upgraded to version 3.0.2 where the device previously had more than 5 tokens stored, then only the first 5 will be available for use.
