RSA NetWitness Informer 2.0.5.2 and above
IssueVisualize results are blank in RSA NetWitness Informer 2.0.
On an Informer server or appliance with Sql 2008 and Informer 2.0 you have properly setup Informer including implementing all the necessarys settings for Visualize and have installed Silverlight yet when you attempt to produce a Visualize, the page comes up blank.
Resolution

Reinitialize the database at the command line using the following commands:

 

Open up a command prompt with administrative privileges. Change to the following directory:

 

C:\Program Files\NetWitness\NetWitness Informer Service

 

Run the following commands to clear and rebuild the database:

 

InformerAgentTestApp.exe /dbinit

 

Once finished attempt to log into the Informer Web Application via a web browser and view a Visualization.

 

Please also ensure that under Control Panel, Regional and Language, Format is set to English (United State), and ALL Date and time formats are the default US English format. If not, visualize will display blank results.
