IssueWhat is the format of data in flatdemo.data used by the Keon OneStep flat file CGI sample plug-in?
Looking at the contents of flatdemo.data used by the Keon Certificate Authority (KCA) OneStep flat file CGI sample plug-in (flatdemo.dll), it's not clear which entries are used for what purpose. The default flatdemo.data file is found in the <KCA-install-dir>\WebServer\OneStep\samples\data\ directory. The contents of flatdemo.data are listed below:

ajones:password1:Sample:OneStep:Allan Jones:ajones@rsasecurity.com:ajones@rsasecurity.com:CN
bjones:password2:Sample:OneStep:Betty Jones:bjones@rsasecurity.com:bjones@rsasecurity.com
cjones:password3:Sample:OneStep:Chuck Jones:cjones@rsasecurity.com:NULL:CN
djones:password4:Sample:OneStep:Diana Jones:djones@rsasecurity.com
ejones:password5:Sample:OneStep:Edwin Jones:ejones@rsasecurity.com
ResolutionThe flat file is composed of lines containing colon-delimited values for (shown in order):

  username (required for authentication only)
  password (required for authentication only)
organization (added to cert?s O attribute)
organizational unit (added to cert?s OU attribute)
common name (added to cert?s CN attribute)
e-mail address (added to cert?s EMAIL attribute)
upn (optional, added to the Subject Alt Name extension)
dirName (optional, added to the Subject Alt Name extension)

For more details on the usage of upn and dirName values, see RSA Keon OneStep 6.5.1 Developer?s Guide, page 43. Use "NULL" as the value for upn if you do not want any value for upn in the certificate AND would like to setup a value for dirName.
