IssueWhen trying to install the ClearTrust LDAP replication agent as a service in Windows: error 1067
Could not start the JavaServiceLDAP service.  Error1067 The process terminated unexpectedly.
CauseThe readme.txt is incorrect
ResolutionThe original readme.txt located in c:\Securant\SecCtrl\LDAP\ntservice\readme.txt was intended for a different release of the LDAP replicator.

The following instructions is the correct way to install this LDAP Replicator as a Service in Windows:

SecureControl LDAP Replication Agent 4.6.x

Installing the Replication Agent as a NT service
============================================

Steps for installation. <LDAP_ROOT> is the directory where the LDAP replicator has been
  installed - by default this is C:\Securant\SecCtrl\LDAP.

1. Start a NT command prompt
2. Change directory to <LDAP_ROOT>\ntservice
3. Run jservice -i LDAP
4. Run regedit.exe
5. Go to the registry key :
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\JavaServiceLDAP\Parameters
  there are 4 string parameters :
    - class
    - classpath
    - options
    - arguments
6. Set the class parameter to sirrus/ldap/replication/agent/Agent
7. Set the classpath parameter to the following:

<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\ldapjdk.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\jgl3_1_0.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\dn.jar;
<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\ldapfilt.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\activation.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\security.jar;
<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\jce1_2-do.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\mail.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\voyager.jar;
<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\freebongo.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\jcert.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\jnet.jar;
<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\jsse.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\sunjce_provider.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\scldap.jar;
<LDAP_ROOT>\classes\securant.jar;<LDAP_ROOT>\jre\lib\rt.jar

8. Set the options parameter to -Dinstall.root=<LDAP_ROOT>
9. Save the registry changes.
10. You can now start and stop the service JavaServiceLDAP using the service manger.
