error: "IPSEC connection failure" on the Contivity Switch
User receives "Access denied"
ResolutionCheck in ACE/Server administration, under profile / edit profile, if there are no profiles added  then you must
follow solution Loading Radius Attributes prior to continuing with this solution.

Reboot the Bay Contivity Extranet Switch.
Rebooting the Contivity reestablished the ability to successfully authenticate.
The communication between Contivity and the Radius is connectionless, and the IPSEC connection failure error message would appear to indicate that the problem lay in the IPSEC tunnel coming into the Contivity switch.
WorkaroundUpgraded ACE/Server in a previously functioning installation.
