|Issue||Keys are showing up a state of PREACTIVATED and start date being Never|
|Resolution||This is actually functioning as designed.|
Keys in PREACTIVATED state are security objects containing the "LUN base record", which is some data used solely by the Brocade implementation. It is not a key, hence its state being PREACTIVATED without a start date.
Keys in ACTIVATED state are the actual keys (DEK - Data Encryption Key) used to encrypt LUNs managed by Brocade. Those DEKs are based and created using information from that "LUN base record".
