Oracle Application Server Proxy Plug-in (OracleAS Proxy Plug-in)
Microsoft IIS 6.0
Oracle application "BI Publisher"
|Issue||AxM: Missing HTTP Headers that ClearTrust creates, CT_REMOTE_USER |
ClearTrust headers , especially CT_REMOTE_USER were not being passed on to the Oracle Application server. The headers were present when using a dumpvars.asp test page on the IIS server. The Oracle proxy on IIS was not passing on the ClearTrust headers to the Oracle Application server.
|Cause||The Oracle was installed as a filter and proxying pages. There were installation steps that were skipped concerning the registry.|
|Resolution||The Install process involves creating Windows registry entries and using the IIS management console to add directories and filters. You must restart the listener after configuring the plug-in. Refer to section "Configuring IIS Listener to Use OracleAS Proxy Plug-in" in the Oracle? HTTP Server Administrator's Guide|
