IssueChange the IP address of the RSA Authentication Manager Primary Server

When trying to change the IP address of the Primary Authentication Manager Server, the following error is generated:

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (RSA_REP.UK_AM_HOST_PRIMARY_IP) violated

 

Cause

This can be caused by an Agent host entry that has the same IP address assigned as the one you're trying to change to. This usually occurs when the AM 7.1.2 Database was Migrated from AM 6.1 and the data dump file contained an Agent host entry of the old AM 6.1 server with the IP address you're trying to change to.

 

ResolutionLogon to the Security Console and Delete the old Servers Agent host entry. Once agent host entry is deleted, follow the Steps in the Authentication Manager 7.1 Administrator's Guide Page 291 to change/Update the IP address of the Authentication Manager 7.1 Server.
