IssueApache graceful restart does not work on SuSE 9.0 with the 4.7 Agent.
When attempting to restart the Apache web server with the ./apachectl (the graceful command),  some of the httpd processes from the previous start will not shut down properly.  If you run the command ps -eaf | grep httpd, you will find several httpd process that must be manually eliminated with the unix "kill" command first before the apache server can be restarted.
CauseDue to changes in the threading model between libgc 2.2 and libgc 2.3, the Apache server does not always release the threads associated with the ClearTrust agent.  This problem does not occur on SuSE Linux 8.0 because it used the glibc 2.2 libraries.
ResolutionThis issue has been resolved in hotfix 4.7.0.09 for the Apache 2.0 Agent for SuSE 9.0.  Contact RSA Customer Support and request this hotfix or the latest hotfix for SuSE 9.0
