IssueApp 3.0: how to unpack a console backup (i.e. .tgz files)
Resolution

As with all unix OS's, there is more than one command that is correct and of course will work to extract the bundle.  From the command line, you may issue:

1) become root

sudo su -

2) extract the bundle using:

tar -xvf <file>.tgz

NotesThe 3.0 appliance runs on top of Rpath Linux.  The bundle can be treated the same way you would treat any unix bundle thats tagged with a .tgz extension.  A .tgz extension in unix denotes a tar/gunzip bundle.
