Issue

ORA-20007: ORA-20007: ORA-20008: ORA-01882: timezone region not found


Token replication affected
Alert log file from the Primary contains the following error:

ORA-20007: ORA-20007: ORA-20008: ORA-01882: timezone region not found

Resolution

Thisprocedure needs tobe run on both Primary and replica (starting on by Replicas) to solves the issue:

 

-          Open a command line Utility and browse to the $RSA_HOME\utils folder

-          Run rsaenv

-          Run the command rsautil.cmd manage-secrets -a listall

-          Grab the password for:

o        Database Replication User ID ...............: RSA_STREAMS_ADMIN

o        Database Replication User Password .........: ***********

 

-          copy the ims_batch_replication_pkg_sp3.pck in the utils folder

-          run the following command: sqlplus RSA_STREAMS_ADMIN/$password @ ims_batch_replication_pkg_SP3.pck  (replace $password with the password you?ve got from the previous command)

-          Perform the same procedure on all other replicas

-          Perform the same procedure on the Primary

-          Wait on the day after (there is a schedule script running during the night)

-          Check the alert log file ($RSA_HOME\db\admin\random-name\bdump\alert_random-name.log) if there is any time zone not found issue.

 


Download and apply SP4 and latest patch.
