Issue | A case viewed using either the Case Management Back Office application, or via the Case Management API, has an IP address that is in an incorrect format or has an unexpected value. |
Cause | The IP address that is shown as the source of an authentication for Case Management is the value that was sent by the application to RSA in the Web Services (SOAP) request (deviceRequest structure's ipAddress parameter). RSA Adaptive Authentication will not check that the ipAddress parameter is in the correct format for an IP address. |
Resolution | Check that your application is always inserting a valid IP address in the ipAddress parameter of every deviceRequest structure, when building SOAP requests to send to RSA Adaptive Authentication. |
