Port 9999 was not open between the Network Controller and the appliance during the upgrade.
|Issue||After DLP 9.5 upgrade some NW appliances appear down in Enterprise Manager|
|Cause||Port 9999 must be open between the Network Controller and the DLP Network appliances during the upgrade, otherwise the required certificate exchange will not occur between the systems and communications will be lost.|
|Resolution||It is best to insure that port 9999 is open between the NWC and the appliances before upgrade, however if this is not possible a workaround has been developed by Engineering that can be used to exchange the required certificate after the fact.|
