|Issue||Altiga VPN box was restarted, now users cannot authenticate|
Error: "Node verification failed" in ACE/Server logs
|Resolution||Delete the Node Secret on the Altiga using the "File Management" menu, and then resend the Node Secret from the ACE/Server.|
To resend the node secret to an Altiga VPN box:
1. Start a Database Administration session, and click Client/Edit Client.
2. Pick the client that is the Altiga VPN box.
3. Uncheck the "sent node secret" box.
4. Authenticate through the Altiga box.
|Workaround||The node secret can become corrupted on the VPN box if the device is not shut down in a graceful fashion (i.e., powering it off).|
