Adding Additional Appliance Replica Servers

You cannot add multiple Replica Servers using the newreplicapackage.bat utility. To

add additional Replica Servers, you can generate additional Replica packages using

the RSA Authentication Manager Replica Management utility and convert these

packages using the toappliancepackage.bat utility.

To add additional Replica Servers:

1. From a Remote Desktop session on the RSA Authentication Manager Primary,

access Database Administration by clicking Start > RSA Authentication

Manager Host Mode.

2. Add the Replica Server as a closed Agent Host on the Primary Server.

From Database Administration, click Agent Host and select Add Agent Host.

Make sure that the Open to All Locally Known Users option is not selected, and

click OK.

3. From the Remote Desktop session on the Primary, access the Replica

Management control panel to add your Replica Server to the database and

generate a Replica Package for the Replica Server. For more information, see the

RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 Administrator?s Guide.

4. From the C:/authmgr/prog directory on the RSA Authentication Manager, run

the toappliancepackage.bat script. For more information about

toappliancepackage.bat, see ?Preparing the Replica Package (on Windows) for

the RSA SecurID Appliance 2.0? on page 25.

You can find the resulting output file, named ReplicaPackage1.CAB, in the

top-level Replica Package directory. Use this file to perform a quick setup of your

Replica Appliance to complete this process.

For more information, see ?Performing Quick Setup on a Replica Server? on

page 21.

5. For each new Replica Server that you want to add, repeat the above steps.
