AM 7.1: Is it possible to mix versions of unix between a primary and replica, i.e. a solaris primary server with a linux replica, or vice versa


On attempting this model, recieving error: The replica database OS is not compatible with primary database OS
ResolutionAs of AM 7.1sp2, this configuration is not supported and will result in the afformentioned error message. You must use like versions of unix, Solaris 10 primary to Solaris 10 replica, RedHat 4.0 primary to Redhat 4.0 replica.  You cannot mix a Linux server with a Solaris server in any combination.
