IssueTo resolve this error and access event viewer
You try to access enVision GUI, and go to event viewer. After few moments during load up, you see error on the top "NiC server is not available". You have check the service NIC server service in service.msc and it appears to be running

This could due to an incorrect / corrupted license file. To confirm this

1. Stop the NIC service service from services.msc

2. Open cmd, and go to e:\nic\<version>\<nodename>\bin folder

3. Run pi_ls_server -v

4. Look for any message saying "license is invalid"

The reason license become incorrect / corrupt could due to a hardware change of the standalone appliance or the D-Srv, which results in a change of Host ID

ResolutionContact technical support and ask for a new license to be generated for the standalone appliance or the D-Srv (with the new hostID)
