IssueHow to configure UPS support for Securid Appliance box
Whilst installing UPS client management software on the Appliance isn't supported by RSA, there is another way to ensure UPS power management to the SecurID appliance.

- Remote Console to the RSA SecurID appliance box by either using 'Advanced' - 'Remote Desktop' via the Administration gui or by port 8198 using Remote Desktop

- Startup Windows Control Panel, then select 'Power Options Properties'. Then select 'UPS' tab, then under the details section, click 'Select' and choose the appropriate UPS brand, i.e.;  American Power Conversion or Generic.   Then click Apply.

- You will need to connect a USB cable from your UPS to the SecurID appliance box.  This will offer basic UPS functionality for automatic power off, but will not offer the full functionality of the vendor's software.
