IssueAdministrative interface keeps reloading after applying Build 258 on RSA Keon Certificate Authority 6.5.1
Clearing the browser cache and restarting KCA services does not fix the problem
CauseExcept for a few files that belonged to build 258 or 248, many other files under the directory <KCA-install-dir>/WebServer/ were dated Dec 9, 2002.  The date stamp and their file sizes reflected that those belonged to an older version KCA 6.0.2.
ResolutionContact RSA Customer Support to get assistance with updating your KCA installation with correct files under <KCA-install-dir>/WebServer.

For your information, the following steps will need to be taken to resolve the issue:
  1. Stop KCA services
  2. Make a full backup of your KCA
  3. Obtain the new set of files that should be dropped into your KCA installation.  RSA Customer Support will provide you these files.  In the above situation, those files will taken from a KCA 6.5.1 build 248 installation.
  4. Copy the files obtained from RSA Customer Support to your KCA directory <KCA-install-dir/WebServer
  5. Now apply hot fix KCA 6.5.1 Build 258
  6. On Solaris, change ownership of the new files under WebServer using ?chown?:
            chown -R <user>:<group> <KCA-install-dir>/WebServer
  7. On Solaris, also check/fix ownership of other files under Xudad, CmpServer, and LogServer
  8. Start KCA services
  9. Clear browser cache, and close all browser windows
  10. Start a new browser window, and connect to KCA admin interface
