Microsoft Windows 2000
|Issue||Why can't ct_logon.html be used with RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.0.x for Microsoft IIS?|
Form-based authentication to login page (ct_logon.html) failing on POST method
|Cause||The RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.0 for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) does not come with an HTML-based logon page. Only ASP/JSP based logon pages are provided with the Agent.|
Also, the RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.0.x for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) does not support HTML-based log on page. The ct_logon.html cannot be used with the RSA ClearTrust Agent 3.0.x due to a change in the design to avoid chunking problems. The new Agent requires either an ASP or JSP logon page to collect POST data, put the data as a HTTP header, and then for the Agent to retrieve data from the header.
|Workaround||Webagent.conf file was updated and the parameter "cleartrust.agent.login_form_location_basic" was set to ct_logon.html (template copied from a previous version of the ClearTrust Agent)|
