Getting "select server to administer" prompt window while opening database administration host mode on the Primary RSA ACE/Server
CauseRSA ACE/Server database administration host mode believes the machine IP address is different than the IP address assigned in the ACE/Server Configuration Management Window.
Installing RSA ACE/Server 5.0 while a machine is physically disconnected from the network will cause Configuration Management Window to use the 127.0.0.1 loop back address of the machine. While running host mode while machine is on the network cause a conflict between the machine IP address and the Configuration Management settings.
ResolutionModify the ACE/Server Configuration Management Window. Select Start --> Programs --> RSA ACE Server --> Configuration Management. Edit the "This server:" Entry to include the correct IP of the machine. Edit the "Primary server:" Entry to include the correct IP of the machine. Stop and Start the ACE/Server Services from the Control Panel ACE/Server applet.
