IssueWhy have all DPM 3.5 backups stopped?

/var/log/DPM_logs/backup/backup.log

Failed to mount drives ERROR CODE: 1

mount -a

remote host has disconnected

Remote backup system in /var/log/messages

<backupUser> password expired

CauseDPM is unable to mount the specified drive because the remote host has disconnected.  Look at /var/log/messages on the remote backup system to understand why.  In this case the <backupUser> password had expired in a 3rd party Active Directory integration tool named Centrify.
ResolutionReset the password of <backupUser> or change the password policy to meet the requirements of the <backupUser> and run the backups again.
NotesNote: When backups stop as a result of an expired password you will need to reconfigure the backup and credentials on the DPM appliance console.
