IssueHow to manually generate node secret file on 6.x version of Authentication Manager:
Resolution

Edit agent host entry in host mode administration screen . Click the ?Create Node Secret File?? button in the lower right side of window. This requires 8 character password.

 

The default directory location of the agent_nsload.exe utility is C:\Program Files\RSA Security\RSA Authentication Manager\Prog

 

The default name of the file generated when manually creating node secret is nodesecret.rec, which is also placed into C:\Program Files\RSA Security\RSA Authentication Manager\Prog by default

 

Open a command line interface and change directory to C:\Program Files\RSA Security\RSA Authentication Manager\Prog

 

EXAMPLE OF HOW TO RUN UTILITY:

>agent_nsload ?f nodesecret.rec ?p 12345678

 

Should result in:

 

Loading node secret?.

The Node Secret is successfully loaded

 

The secured file should be in the Windows\System32 directory.
