Issue"package.tar" file was not created during Keon (Sentry) CA upgrading process
When upgrading, the person doing the upgrade states that the package.tar was created successfully, but this file could not be located.
CauseThis problem applies to Win NT upgrade when creating the 'package.tar' file for a later upgrade or subsequent migration to another platform.
The upgrader requires the GNU Extensions for Win32, more specifically, the file the upgrader requires for tar creation is "win32gnu.dll".  This file is usually located in your system path or the WINNT\System\ directory. The absence of this file will cause the package generation to fail.
ResolutionCheck your system to ensure that you are missing this .dll file.  If so, you may download the missing file from the following SecurCare Online URL:

  https://knowledge.rsasecurity.com/docs/utilities/win32gnu.zip

Unzip it and place the dll into your WINNT\System\ directory.  Then, run the upgrader again and create your package.tar file.  The final tar package will be placed in the  <Sentry-install>\Xcert\SentryCA\Upgrader\ directory.

For Keon (Sentry) CA 4.7 and above, "win32gnu.dll" is included in the distribution files.
