IssueCreating a RADIUS backup fails on Authentication Manager 8.1 with the error below:
Backing up RADIUS: Failed
User-added image
Progress Monitor:
User-added image
CauseA permission issue on the file xxxxx.log, in this case it is 20150210.log.
When checking the owner of the file this is output:
#ls -alh ./20150210.log
-rw------- 1  root  rsaadmin 0 Feb 10 00:00 ./20150210.log << It should be rsaadmin rsaadmin instead.
Resolution1-SSH to the appliance as the rsaadmin user

2-Type in the following commands:

#sudo su -

#cd /opt/rsa/am/radius

#ls -alh ./20150210.log

Now for the outcome of this command, if it looks like the below then it's good:

-rw------- 1 rsaadmin rsaadmin 0 Feb 10 00:00 ./20150210.log

However, if it looks like this:

-rw------- 1 root rsaadmin 0 Feb 10 00:00 ./20150210.log

Then we need to change ownership:

#chown rsaadmin ./20150210.log
and to to change the ownership of all .log files:

#chown rsaadmin *.log
After that the customer should be able to create a backup with no problem.
