IssueError when trying to establish a JDBC connection to a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 if SSL-J JSSE is used.
Data Protection Manager will use SSL-J for all SSL/TLS sockets, including those used by the JDBC driver.
The client (or DPM Server) fails to connect to the SQL Server with the following exception:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "Connection reset".
ResolutionA workaround was added in SSL-J version 5.1.0.1
To fix the issue,
  1. Use library from SSL-J  5.1.0.1
  2. Set the following property in JAVA_HOME/lib/security/java.security
com.rsa.ssl.compatibility.layeredsocket.useavailable=enabled
