Issue"RKM Appliance Backup Failed" message in system logs
RKM Appliance system logs, /var/log/messages, shows a failed message like the following indicating automated backup might have failed:

Feb 13 09:00:14 rkmapp-1 logger: rkmapp-1.rsa.emc.com: RKM Appliance Backup Failed [141] - Log File: /opt/rsa/extras/rkm-appliance-backup/logs/RKMABackup.sh-20110213170001.log

RKM Appliance Backup log file, such as RKMABackup.sh-20110213170001.log, shows one or more FAILED message
ResolutionReview the specific RKM Appliance log file referred to in /var/log/messages (e.g., RKMABackup.sh-20110213170001.log in the above example) for details on which component failed to backup.  Sometimes the component that failed to backup may be expected and can be ignored; for example, the backup script attempts to read SSLCertificateChainFile parameter in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf to backup trusted CA chain file, however this parameter might not be configured for a particular RKM Appliance deployment and hence the error can be ignored.
