Resolution

Please reference the attached document for information on backing up the Aveksa database.
This document was prepared for Aveksa Service for ACM versions V3.5,x,  V3.6.x  when ACM had a physical cluster configuration.
The cluster being referenced is a  Dell 1950 hardware cluster, not an Oracle nor Application server(Jboss, WebSphere, WebLogic) cluster.
Support for the Dell 1950 cluster ended with Version 3.6.x
Current backup procedures are outlined in the existing ACM and IMG Installation and Database Configuration Guides.
 

NotesIf the  source and target machines  are not running the same version of the IMG (formerly Aveksa) software, then it is possible that the database may need to be migrated to the more recent version before being accessible.
Databases of newer versions than the application server version are not allowed.
