IssueAM 8.1 RADIUS does not allow double quotes as part of RADIUS secret and notes.
Error: "Could not connect to RADIUS server. Contact customer support."
1. Log on to Security Console in AM 8.1 SP1.
2. Navigate to RADIUS — > RADIUS Clients — > Add new Client
3. Add a new client with shared secret S"SyTnHsRGFCH93+gqAIjcd=6
4. Save the client and you will notice the error: "Could not connect to RADIUS server. Contact customer support."
It appears if the double quotes are used in RADIUS secret, when try to save the client, the above error appears.
CauseIt appears if the double quotes are used in RADIUS secret, when try to save the client, the above error appears. This is reported as a defect AM-29347.
ResolutionThis issue has been reported in defect AM-29347 and it has been resolved in patch 7 for AM 8.1
