Replacement certificates use 1024 bit key length
CauseThe key length in a default RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 system is 2048 bit for the default self-signed certificates which are installed.  If the documentation is followed for replacing the certificates with certificates signed by a certificate authority then the keylength is decreased to 1024 bit.
ResolutionThis is currently a known issue for RSA Authentication Manager and has been resolved in Service Pack 3
