IssueOn a 10.5 Security Analytics server, a jetty restart may, under rare circumstances, incorrectly report a service as offline when in fact it is online.
CauseThis issue has only been observed on Security Analytics 10.5, and is currently under investigation by RSA.
ResolutionAfter insuring that the services that appear offline are online and functional, follow the instructions in the workaround section to correct this problem while RSA investigates this issue.
WorkaroundPerform the following steps to save a service that appears to be offline in Security Analytics:
 
  1. In the Security Analytics UI, select Administration > Services.
  2. In the Services grid, select the service that appears to be offline.
  3. Click in the toolbar to open the Edit dialog.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Repeat for each service that appears offline incorrectly.
