IssueAfter upgrading RSA IMG from 6.8.1 to 6.9, one or more of the following unexpected behaviors occurs:

1. The logo on the browser tab still shows the 6.8.1 Aveksa logo instead of the 6.9 RSA logo.

2. If using AFX:
a) The AFX Server is listed as Disabled in the User Interface (UI) even though it was 'Running' in 6.8.1.
b) The new 6.9 plug-in that allows you to enable/disable the AFX Server does not exist in the UI. Therefore, you are unable to enable the AFX Server.

CauseExisting jsp pages from the 6.8.1 installation are cached and causing these unexpected behaviors.

ResolutionThis is fixed in 6.9 P02 (currently released) and 6.9.1 (future release.)

Workaround1. Logged in as the oracle linux user, remove the cached jsp pages by removing the files located under /home/oracle/jboss/server/default/work/jboss.web/localhost/aveksa

a) Login to the server as 'oracle
or,
if you are already logged into the server as some other user,
$ su oracle

b) $ rm -rf /home/oracle/jboss/server/default/work/jboss.web/localhost/aveksa
2. Reload any web pages from which you were accessing IMG by doing the following:
a) Log out of the UI
b) Close the browser window
c) Restart the browser window
d) Go to the IMG login screen and login again. Note the browser tab now shows the RSA 6.9 logo.
3. Enable the AFX Server:
In the UI go to AFX -> Servers -> AFX Server -> Edit -> check enabled box -> OK
