Resolution

By default, ACM 3.6.2 and earlier systems allocated a total of 2GB for Oracle, with SGA/PGA assignments of 1.3/0.4GB respectively.

For the production appliance, configured with 8 and 16GB, it is strongly recommended that the Oracle memory assignment is increased to a total of 4GB, with SGA/PGA of 2/2G respectively, using the following instructions:

ALTER SYSTEM SET pga_aggregate_target = 2097152000  SCOPE=BOTH;
ALTER SYSTEM SET sga_max_size = 2097152000 COMMENT='internally adjusted' SCOPE=SPFILE;

Shutdown and restart Oracle and then

ALTER SYSTEM SET sga_target = 2097152000 SCOPE=BOTH;

If for any reason you run into problems, reset the original allocation by following the above instructions and substituting the 2097152000 value with 1325400064 for SGA and 466616320 for PGA.
