ResolutionWhat is the underlying problem when the ACM UI does not seem to be available, the database appears to start but the following error is seen in the ACM Oracle startup log (/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/startup.log) (Note, the error is also seen in the Oracle Instance Alert log file found in /u01/app/oracle/product/admin/AVDB/bdump/alert_AVDB.log)


SQL> Connected to an idle instance.

SQL> ORACLE instance started.



Total System Global Area 2097152000 bytes

Fixed Size 1261812 bytes

Variable Size 1073745676 bytes

Database Buffers 1006632960 bytes

Redo Buffers 15511552 bytes

Database mounted.

ORA-16014: log 2 sequence# 738 not archived, no available destinations

ORA-00312: online log 2 thread 1:

'+DG01/avdb/onlinelog/group_2.265.682597325'

'+DG01/avdb/onlinelog/group_2.266.682597329'
The usual problem is that the ASM partition is "full" based on ORA-16014 error in the log
